Silver Surfer - FX45 :: 2006 Infiniti FX45

Hey thanks guys, the information feed is a work in progress. Thought I'd share some actual costs and what I thought of the mods that I have done. Hey, maybe it will help someone else make a more informed decision down the road. Unless of course you want to pester Chedman, Dr. 2K, Turbo, Viet and all the other members that have been so cool providing knowledge/feedback to me along the way =) iS pays it forward baby!

Very tastefully done sir. I am such a fan of the understated and perfectly executed mod path. The antennae delete, the mirrors...tres bon ami!

Is about time! Like the timeline of mods and pricing. Will be a good reference for the new owners looking for mods. BTW, got the part# to the OEM rocker switch that you use for the DDM fogs?

Hmmm, it's the snow switch rocker. Jeff, any idea what that might be?. You just break off the surrounding plastic to access the feeds, you can also wire it to light up when it is turned on. Then carefully color in the letters or tape it off and spray it. Hey, this is right up your alley Andy.........

Good thing this is a private forum and no public users can see what you post. So just to clarify for the love of your life, those are all MSRP and Lance got everything for 98% off.

So the snow switch is used to turn the fogs on and off? I'm confused. How is that wired?

And come on Lance:
"10 mm H&R spacers in front eventual plan is to cut further into the rears and run 5mm's in back"

Wordsmith that=)

The fogs will need to wire to the switch independently. I would thrown in a relay to cut power to the switch so if you forget to turn off the fogs after you parked your ride.

I wire my LED AE such that when the key is in accessories/run mode, the AE will be on. I added one of those a good old silver toggle switch to turn on/off the AE anytime I want. Wire it this way, I leave the AE toggle switch in the ON position all the time as I drive with the AE on anyway and as soon as the key is not in accessories/run mode, the AE will be off. I don't have to worry about turning the AE off when I leave the car or forget to turn them on when I'm driving. The snow switch will give it a OE look for sure.

I know you drive with your fog and AE on, it can be done the same way with one switch.
