"No good videos of the Borla exhaust exist"????

Has anyone actually tried to search youtube? There are plenty of Borla posts on the FX and other vehicles...

Go to youtube and search for "infiniti FX Borla exhaust" and you'll find plenty of results.
Just so I know going forward, what constitutes a "good video"?

90% of them are crappy quality, just revving, no video of exhaust under load, etc etc. A decent exhaust video should have all of the above...sttartup, revving, takeoff, under load, etc. with a decent quality camera..... I havent really checked in a month or so but maybe there are some better ones now?
The ones I saw around when I got my 50 were all crappy, with maybe one or two that were decent. Most of the ones that popped up were fx35's not 50's
There are some decent exhaust vids but a lot of them are arabic so when you ask what the exhaust is they dont respond....so you dont kno exactly what they are running.
I guess I'll go check again now but last time I looked there was nothing great that helped show how the exhaust really sounded....
I also remember one youtube comment convo where the guy had the borla got rid of it then posted the new video and he said it sounded twenty times better than the borla...Theres also a site member who ditched the borla for a custom fit indivia but that was a fx35
...also apparently the borla is the same as getting test pipes, removing the resonators, and getting free-flowing mufflers.

jbaker, what exhaust are you going to go with and when? Do you have a tow hitch and/or have heard any issues surrounding that? One of the guys bought an exhaust for his FX35 2nd gen and then couldn't install it since he had the tow hitch.

If I get a chance, I'm going to make some calls to see if anyone has the exhaust in stock, but I think I already know the answer to that...

You can't go wrong with Borla, I have a combination of Borla and Bassani xpipe on my Mustang, it sounds deep and pretty loud!

No Idea yet to be honest. I have no hitch so it wont be a problem. I may gut the resonators and seehow iut sounds then just wait for an exhaust to come out that I like....
