This will be a rolling thread - just post up if you plan on going to the upcoming Houston coffee and cars monthly meet on the first Saturday at 8am every month. The location can change, so check the HC&C website for specifics:

The last location was on the north side of the city - vintage park. Nice location and I definitely plan on continuing to go to these each month. It would be great to roll into the venue with several FXs. I guarantee that has never been seen at this event before.
 
Looks like the next one is gonna be at vintage park on may 7th, i would like to go to one of these and stand on the side of the street and watch all the bad a** cars take off. :smile (2):
 
So this could be a true enthusiasts day... the Zclub of Houston is hosting a car show at Sterling McCall dealership - also on the 7th, but not till after Coffee and Cars is done.

If a person was so inclined, they could roll from one straight to the other. Just sayin...

I've only seen old guys in an AC Cobra and a Viper in Dallas, but most videos online are of Mustangs. I saw a recent one of a Gallardo though, that was ugly.
 
Last month at the brand new location, two guys in a red GTO spun out as they gunned it coming out of the lot and made a left turn. The car went into oversteer, the kid over corrected and it put him over the curb, on the grass against a tree.

We are all hoping that doesn't stop future meets from happening at this location.

I remember seeing one where a white vette lost control and almost hit the people standing in the grass by the freeway, it was crazy.

No worries jumbo. I was at home getting ready for grad school exams. I had a bunch of my friends go today tho and it was a good turn out. They said at minimum 15 z's
 
Didn't really take too many photos at this past weekend's coffee and cars. Couple of my car and one of a 65 Corvette. My younger brother is interested in the C2 so I have been starting some forum lurking.
