TRI STATE FXers!
I'm trying to get a meet together during March 5th-13th (S,S,M,T,W,TH,F,S,S)
I'm home from spring break, and I know a lot of FXers have been itching for a meet as spring begins to show....
There are the usual meeting spots, Floyd Bennett field in Brooklyn, Ft. Totten in Throgs Neck, and others, but I figured we try something new,
maybe more central to NYC or possibly something more scenic "upstate" closer to my town and then arrange a group meal locally, in the mall, get pizzas delivered, etc. .
let's get some ideas together for a spot, and agree on a date...

Proposed spots in my area...
"the docks" by Matthiessen Park, Irvington, NY:popular spot for my friends and I
theres a few lots we can use, plenty of room, two nice parks to go into, nice picture possibilities with the Tappan zee bridge and palisades, and also a view of the NYC skyline.... plenty of nearby places to hang out indoors to eat, etc.
my town is right off 9a, 287, the sprain brook, the bronx river, 87, saw mill etc. so easy drive from anywhere really.

Yonkers Best Buy lot, right off the sprain brook:popular spot for my friends and I
lots of room, movie theatre nearby, lots of places to go nearby, nearby old school Nathan's hot dogs....right off the sprain and near 87....so easy access
Plenty of nearby places to hang out and eat.
The Palisades Center mall West Nyack, NY
has a million parking spaces so there's no problem with it being crowded...plus its a mall! we can always go in afterwards for food, bowling, movies, whatever!
its right off 287.....nice place to meet up, and nice local roads to tear up
I personally recommend the Palisades Mall,just for ease to get there, so much there to make it 'worth the drive" etc...and nice pictures, plenty room for groups....
there are a few others...but lets get some ideas together. most of the time everyone ends up driving to Brooklyn so maybe it would be nice to switch it up... let's atleast get a list going for who would be down to meet up for that week, and lets toss some dates around. link to same thread, but on the .org http://www.infinitifx.org/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=25099&p=276991#p276991
There are also a few forums planning a "Five Borough Run" during that week that we are welcome to join in on, but a date has not been released.(more information on that will be shared when it becomes available; they are still planning official date, etc.)
