Fx35 vs rsx

Me and some friends are going out to a local racetrack in a few weeks and I'm going with my 2005 fx35.my friend was talking about having a race with me.he owns a stock Rsx type s.anyone have any input on how I will do against him?I know this is a fx site and it will be in my favor but I'm looking for an honest opinion on how I will do against him.thanks.once again this is happening at a local track.

The Type-S RSXs are pretty quick. I think you could take him off the line because they don't have a ton of low end torque, but pretty soon he could overtake you. He wouldn't blow you away, but I'm guessing the RSX would win decisively.

the RSX is quick as it is.. The RSX type S is a bit quicker plus is way lighter than the FX35... any engine/exhaust mods to your FX?

if your FX is stock im going for the Type S RSX due to the fact that is lighter...

I deciding if to do it off the line or a 20 roll.I drove his car before and it doesn't feel as quick as mine but I never took it above 70.I went up against a base Rsx at the track and beat it by a few cars so I'm curious what will happen against the type s. My car is stock and so it his.

Straight line probably 20 roll I'm not sure if to do it off the line

how do you do a 20 roll race on a drag strip?

IMHO if he doesn't blow the launch he'll take you at the end.

This would be true if you had more than a 1/4 mile strip.

Yea it was a base model though the type s is quicker .things might change if this weekend is nice we might do it .....I'll definitely let you guys know how it goes hopefully I take him and give our "family suv" some respect lol

Not tryin to be mean but it will beat you out the line and all the way through. Only if he knows how to drive stick properly.

I always lost to a buddy in the 1/4 but his was fairly modded and gutted. He always pulled away at the end.
