Mackin imports/distributes some hi end products including Yokohama, Rays, Volks, Project Kics ... I can't vouch for this brand, but based on reputation, I'd assume the quality is good!

I wouldn't call it a knock off of Invidia because they cost about twice as much. How much was this one?
you can ask anyone in the G37 community that MXP came out with this design before Invida, but if you want to give prop to the design you should give it to Amuse..

Spring has been use in Exhaust for many years, it added security for these adjustable tip. Like I said these tip are adjustable so if you like your tip to site flush with the rear of your bumper then you have the option to do so.
