ADV.1: Forged Monoblock 20,21,22 Wheel Options

Anyone ever hear of this company? Last year at this time, I was looking everywhere for a 21/22 forged monoblock mesh wheel with little to no results. I'm sure you pay a premium w/ these, but i think they'd look hot ... just curious if anyone
s heard of these, maybe this is a newer company or I'm just late to the game :sluggish:

Ive seen ADV1 around on a few reputable car forums. Plus they gave out free shirts. A plus in my book hehe

but on a serious note, those rims look hot!
 
damn, I woulda def went with a 22 monoblock if they were available over a year ago..., assuming they can still build to spec, which may be a bit of an issue with a monoblock, probably limited fitments, limited widths & offsets & stuff, unlike a 3 piece which can be built to almost anything you desire...

Ha, I'm thinking the same thing :rofl: ... I wonder what kind of limitations they'd have, I saw they claimed to be able to machine out for custom sizes for any vehicle. There must be some constraints though, not sure.

And yes, pricing is probably expensive ... I'll have to do a quick search, saw these on a M3 board. I'd assume HRE type pricing.
 
one drawback of these though is, if you damage one you'll need to replace the whole wheel, where on a 3 piece it's usually as easy as replacing just a lip which winds up being less than half what replacing the whole wheel would be... something to think about too, as I damaged 3 of my lips this past winter from potholes :frown:

Monoblock wheels are strong. You really shouldnt have to worry about bending them at all.

Check out Monotec wheels by MHT.

We do that same monoblock style in any finish you want. I will be doing a 23" setup on the FX soon.
 
Thanks for the heads up. Interesting to see these larger sized monoblock wheels finally being offered. The original challenge was finding something like this, the new challenge is now the saving part :eek:

ADV is made by 360 forged or whoever is running that company now a days.
 
23 inch seems like an odd size probably even less tire choice than 21 inch? why not just go either 22 or 24. how much would a set of 22inch ADV wheels cost approximately?
 
I do know monoblocks are strong which is why I want them in the first place, but really just how strong? strong like in absolutely no way a potholes ever going to damage them? I wish that were really true, but I kinda doubt they can really be that bullet proof...

I wanted to run a 22" wheel in the winter & tried it with the 3 piece iforgeds, but potholes just make that impossible here I think & was reluctantly kinda settling on the fact that winter time I'm going to just have to run 20's... you really think that a monoblock is so strong that theres absolutely nothing to worry about?...
 
Well, I should have pricing on a charcoal finished 22x10 +35 monoblock, ADV7.1 pictured above. I also brought up the damage potentials on the 1 piece vs 3 piece wheel, I'm curious to see the response. I'll let you know what their thoughts are on that soon so you have another opinion, I am worried about the same thing.

That would be a crazy staggered set up, wonder how tight the fit would be ... would 12" rears = breaking out the sawzall or what :rofl:
 
I got 11" now, with accurate measuring & precise backspacing I'm sure I can get a 12" wheel in there with 335/25-22 with minimal chopping... those wheels are so sexy... maybe sell my Iforged, asanti's & mayas for them :tonguey: wonder just how expensive they are... anyone get any pricing from them? hmmm :cool: maybe next year
 
Vivid Racing had pricing for a different 3 piece 22" wheel starting at $1900/ wheel ... it's crazy to think selling 3 very nice sets of wheels may only get you pretty close. I'd have to resort to the black market organ trade or go for the nsADV (not-so advanced) knock offs :tongue (2):
