And this is on a "dead block" (very very very very very quiet)

so all FX owners....get wheel locks!

JB, aren't you banned from that site?

Maybe the owner took his wheels off for some reason? My FX would look like that if I ever decided to have my wheels powder coated, except for those silly chrome pillar covers and the fact that I have a driveway...

Not perm banned, only for a few days.
Thats why spare wheels are awesome

I was just thinking about that this morning when I was parking my car and saw a BMW 650 convertible sitting on blocks. This is on a very quiet and nice street where you'll often see a Ferrari or Maserati street parked. It seems as though no area is safe anymore.

I came out to my bagged S-10 on blocks and i have locks on my rims. My truck was lowered, frame touching the ground no way they could get a jack under it. I thought it was safe. They picked my truck up by the fenders

If someone wants your ish bad enough they'll get it.

At least they were nice enough to put the car on bricks. I hear now they jack up just the center of the car and take the wheels out by rocking the car from left to right. Saves them time. The owner comes out to find his car leaning on one side and suspension ruined.

I'm sure thieves have all the keys for wheel locks though. And if not we all store it in the vehicle somewhere. The locks will slow them down. If they want it, they'll get it.

No damage part, He got lucky. The police can found some finger print to whose was involved with the missing wheels from your dusty FX.
