Can't show all the pics I took but I can show some and will post the details of how it came about. Follow along in the adventure.

Sorry ahead of time on the watermarking on the pics, this is only going to be posted here so bear with me. Photos during the build at the shop may be limited since I was asked to not show how they did the flare work. I will tell you ahead of time the metal portions on the body as in fenderwork, quarterpanel work, rear door work were done in metal and than shaped.

We all know Jerome's (wasabiz45) awesome sketch work.

From those we worked on what could actually be done. Sketching is one thing what physically was going to work was another. I had some ideas on what I wanted it to look like in the end vs some of his design concepts as well.

After getting a guesstimate on what the costs were we set an appointment date and went from there. Prior to dropping it off I started compiling a huge folder of other cars stock or aftermarket that I liked for bodylines.

With the help of some photoshoppers we put these body parts onto my FX from different angles. It's a good thing I had so many pics from various angles we could use.

The front was decided on pretty early. We'll touch bases on how that came about a little later.

Rears were a big focus in the beginning because we had nothing to work with but descriptions of what we thought would look cool.

The front was an easy decision to move forward with once some photoshops of it were done.

Wrong innercooler but it was a good dead on shoy.

Right innercooler added.

Right grille added.

3/4 front angle.

This one was a very good photoshop of what were were expecting. The wheel bulges were added and this gave the bodyshop some good thoughts to move forward with.

This is the front bumper used for the end result. Made by KurumaZ for the 03-07 G35 coupe. The lines were simple, the openings were not obnoxious, the side vents reminded me of our headlights and the center opening reminded me of our grille shape.

Oh my god that is the sickest SUV I've seen bro I love everything you've done congrats. I'm a Newbie I'm planning to pick up a used 35 or 45 in the near future loved drving my friends. Also what kind of suspension are you running and what type of paint is that it's clean?

Thanks man. I think I can easily say no one has tried more suspension set ups than I have.

With a lot of help from the G community and my good friend Randy (caskyline) we experiment and are not afraid to just give stuff a shot.

The original pics from the HIN car show are on HKS Hipermax coilovers that are not made for our platform. I'm waiting to get my FX back so I can do an explanation thread on what was all theory and what is actual reality of our platform.

The latest pics are on a Universal Air suspension system. It's essentially bags in place of the springs, which is pretty cool since the dampers are still in place to control rebound. It's been a really happy medium between ride comfort and stiffness.

It was good seeing you dude. Hopefully I can keep it out of the shop to show more of my FX buddies the ride in person. Hopefully I'm not too crazy, but it does look much better in person than even GPs pictures. His pics are great no doubt, but to get a up close and personal look at the lines, width, wheel, work put in is another story.

Costs were not anywhere what I thought it was going to be. Just the bodywork not including the additional stuff I was adding along the way was under 8k. May or may not be a lot for some. I thought it was a great price for the work involved even before they started it, but they wanted to do the project so I'm 99% positive they would not do a second one for the same price.

I'll try to remember all the changes we did, but one of the cooler parts is I have a second bumper sitting in my garage painted and ready to go. I drive a lot so in the beginning I asked for 2 so I would have a back up in case of road damage and paint chips from normal wear and tear.

lol, how much was everyone thinking? 10k 15k? It was an expensive project with the wheel modifications needed, tire change, we opted to change out the exhaust, knew for the best affect slamming it would be ideal so suspension changes cost moola too.

Some may not like how low it is in some pics, some have mentioned the offsets sucking.

Hopefully they understand how camber works.

Once we get the camber kit working I'll get it aligned to my driving height and it should be less cambered when I drop it all the way down.
