Looks like it comes with the extensions....if you look in the lower right corner above the gaskets. AND I would actually use a Magnaflow X Pipe in place of the extensions. It would get rid of almost all rasp, and gets you better performance too!

BUT, you are going to have to extend the tips about 2-3" (Merch is that what u meant?), and with the bend and the shape of these tips, your exhaust guy is going to have a hell of a time getting those extended.

Good Luck, let us know how it turns out...

oh and true dual exhausts dont have a y-pipe! Y-pipe takes both collectors and merges it into 1...like Nismo or HKS. True Dual takes both collectors and keeps them seperated or adds an Xpipe or Hpipe to speed up the exhaust, like Nvidia or Stillen.

whoops. I guess it isnt a trua dual after all. Plan to cut the tips right after it leaves the muffler. it is much smaller than the actual tip.

the fxer that was on here with it said it took only half hour or so at muffler shop to get it extended.

The res x pipe is a good idea but alot of people said it really only rasps with test pipes-i will know soon

after looking again--
this y pipe doesnt connect except for the h pipe wouldn't that be true dual??

yes this looks to be a T.D. set-up....

and a resonated x pipe will definitely help with any drone and rasp that you may get. Afterall the 35 engine is raspy. Try it first, and see if there is any drone or rasp. If there is, then get the res x pipe.

Good Luck, and make sure you post clips of this exhaust... I don't think anyone on this site has done this exhaust or heard it on an FX35.

Hopefully, you have a can of Rusteze handy ^_~

from what i have read the rust issues were the first batch years ago. no one on my350z that has gotten one recently 2 years or so say they have had zero rust,

i plan to use clear engine paint on it just in case though.

my stock exhaust looks rusty from under the car as i am sure most do!

i will get pictures and videos up as soon as i get to install it. plan to use some tools at my dads and do it next sunday if if gets here before then

Ebay dual exhaust review

1st off i gambled when i bought a dual exhaust from ebay for 344 shipped!!

it took a little more work than it should have. the pipes were hitting the differential cover( one of the empty notches), it had to be bent a little.

I did not extend the tips. They are about 2-3 inches too short.

The sound is awesome. low & deep. sounds very aggressive, not raspy or high pitched at all. i will get video up monday or sooner. took longer than i though, now i am busy. wedding/reception/ufc saturday, busy day sunday as well.

it is definately noticeable when you fire it up. people will notice you have a exhaust. may be a tad loud for some of you, but i love it!

may extend tips one day. it doesnt look quite right from the side

pictures loading now, too impatient to wait:tup:
