Fuji badge advice

+1 on dark grill, im sure your going to want to keep the badge chrome to match all the other chrome, red would look tacky

My Vote , Black PC grills emblem delete, light amber tints on H/Ls . . & lose the chrome

but clack wheels are the IN thing! I wish I had some.
& I know he loves the chrome. Notice my tongue?
I just did it up the way I would want it . . nobody requested any PS. It does look badass though, no?

Grill

Was thinking about doing this for a while - just wanted some feedback on which option you guys like the best. No badge or large badge? I have a small badge too, but it gets lost on the grill. Took that option out of the running.

Where did you get your grill from? how much? Is it a bolt on or needs modding? sorry for all the questions, but it looks sweet, I want!

Why y'all gotta waste my flava - damn! How did my thread go from, "hey guys - badge or no badge?" to let's totally deconstruct Jumbo's ride and photoshop a new one for him?

S'all good tho. Dave knows I like chrome the same as I know he doesn't. I don't hold it against him. I showed my wife the PS picture last night and her response was - "that's the kind of car I would expect to see a couple teenagers in with loud music thumping down the street". I sort of agree with her - BUT - if I had a high fidelity picture to work from so I could really see the details and make changes till it was just right... I'd consider doing the black grills and maybe two-tone rims, black with a chrome lip or aluminum lip. Get to work, Dave! But I'm off topic and I digress.

Grill set came from Stillen. Easy bolt on with drilling four holes into the bumper. No drilling needed for the bottom grill, but I had to trim the license plate holder to avoid interference with the lower grill. If you ever decide to go back to the upper OEM grill, the drilled holes will be totally covered and invisible. There are different grills and prices listed on Stillen's website. Here's the link to the upper I bought:

I would actually think the opposite, more chrome more thump... Maybe that idea depends on location.

There's a fine line between classy chrome and dub or too much bling. Cars have always had chrome and it seems the classiest luxury cars always make good use of it, but in a tasteful way. I certainly don't think I have too much chrome on my FX as it stands.

Maybe it is a location thing though. Round here in these parts... cars that look modded get an automatic teenager label. And I gotta say - it's a generalization for a reason. From my own observations, it's generally true!

ANYWAY - back to the thread... I made the large badge mod. Moved it a little higher, used 3m double sided indoor/outdoor tape, and drilled two small holes in the cross members of the badge to thread a zip tie through there.

I have flourescent lights in my garage so the photo came out a little bright. I like the look - definitely unique!
