So i just got back from the local powdercoater, man, this guy does some phenomenal work! too bad he's all the way up here in the panhandle of texas or he'd be a great asset to the rest of the forum. Anyway, real nice guy, found out he loves scottish whisky so I got him a bottle and after a few glasses, I ended up giving him more parts than just my wheels. Here's some teasers, more to come when everything goes on the fx.

yeah, they are center caps, it's a two piece deal that covers the lugs and then a big 6 sided nut that goes over it.

I see center caps, but what is at the end of the STB?

thanks, that's the part that i'm most anxious to see how it turns out. got it on the vehicle but want to extend the tips a bit. gonna run it by local muffler shop and have them push it out an inch or so.

sick.. powder coated exhaust! nice

haha, yeah, just dip and enjoy. first time i went to this guy (brain at TNT powdercoat), i was unsure of his work until he pulled a 1966/67 chevelle frame out of the oven and it was flawless. unbelievable. then he showed me his stock car he's working on, complete powdercoat, nuts. then he broke out 25 year old Glenfarclas scotch, and it was over at that point.

the more i look at the pics the more it seems as if you went to a car fondue place

alright, couldn't make it in time to any tire/wheel place this afternoon, will have to wait til early morning.

here's the stillen stb and exhaust. thinking about extending the tips out a little. don't make fun of my missing engine cover emblem, probably some punk stole it last time i got my oil changed at the mega-mart. thanks guys for all the positive feedback.

kinda what i was thinking. should have thought about it before I got it done. i figure if i get it done far back enough, you can't see it, and painting it over black would be ok but you hate to mar up a man's good work. ahh, i think it looks fine.

lookin good, would kinda suck to have to cut & weld the tips after it's all powdercoated no?

45 a wheel, 45 for the muffler and stb. oh, and a bottle of 15 year old whisky for being such a cool dude!

*fyi dont extend the tips to far or else you get a nice burn on the shin. (it had happen to me before :frown:)

PD looks nice, what was the charge for doing the rims? everything else..

update on pics. didn't take too many, and i accidently deleted some pics i took earlier. weather's been terrible, will have better pics after wash/detail.

here's an earlier pic when it was clean before moving back down to dallas and encountering the nasty weather.
