Part number is EIB6366.540. Looks like something other than just the standard lowering springs. Anybody ever install this kit or know anything about it?

So the picture they show with this part number is bogus then - it shows both coil springs and leaf springs with mounting brackets. The pro-kit is really just four springs?

If you're talking about the Eibach website. Then they list that picture as "Pro Truck System" If you do an actual application search for the FX is shows springs only. So to answer your question. Yes, its just 4 springs and nothing else. Maybe a couple stickers ;)

Did the Eibach kit today. Turns out the rear camber was out of spec after installation. I thought that would mean I'd need the kit, but the guy at the shop said they would just slot the holes and make it fit - which they did. And it's great. Pictures soon.

Alignment numbers-
Left Rear Camber Before: -2.0, After: -1.2
Left Rear Toe Before: -0.13, After 0.23

Right rear Camber Before: -1.8, After: -0.6
Right rear Toe Before: -0.08, After: 0.13

Can't wait to see your FX lowered. Don't think I have ever seen a red FX lowered.

Thanks - I think so too. The different tail options look best on certain colors - I think red tails belong only on the red FX. Check out this shot - the FX's in this picture all have it right, IMO!

Yeah, 265/50/20. Been reading the Springs take any where from 3 months to a year to settle. How much more drop do you think I could expect? Should only look better.

Now that I have had a couple days to drive on them, I have to say there is a big difference from my OEM springs. First, each time I walk up to my car, I feel like the springs made all the difference in making it look like a CAR, and not an SUV. It definitely looks a little lower and MAYBE a little bit meaner - and I like that about it. Seeing the difference made me want to consider a body kit all the more.

Secondly, the ride is about the same or maybe a little better at mid and higher speeds. I actually didn't tell my wife about the install and while we were out, had her tell me if she noticed anything different about the feel of the car. She couldn't tell. I've been driving it since 2004, so I can totally feel the change in responsiveness, feel during braking & turning, and taking the same road bumps along my work route. I'm totally happy with everything about them so far.

I did raise my seat a little and adjusted the mirrors just a tad. Less of a shock to my system that way. Love the mod and would recommend to anybody. I even hear there will be mpg gains because of decreased drag from this mod. I'll be watching for it.

hahaha this guy trying to sell stuff in every thread......

Eibachs have come off the FX for the BC coilovers. I have the OEM shocks and rear struts off the car as well - going up for sale soon. Never an issue with this setup - always felt better than OEM.

For the thread record:

Installed 04/23/09, miles - 90,890

Removed 06/13/10, miles - 109,250

Total miles riding dropped on 'bachs: 18,360

Here is everything that came off in order to swap in the BC coilovers and yes, I did wipe them down quickly.
