And as for HP for the NA's with bolt on's and some ecu tuning the best estimate would be the stated stock HP to about 25Hp's at most.

Psiclne, when you dyno'ed it what did it read at the crank?

They can't get an exact number at the crank. They can only adjust it using assumptions for the loss in power (through transmission etc). On the other hand, there are dynos that measure the power at the brakes and you can compare that directly with the bhp(brake hp) rating given by the manufacturer.

Yeah I assume with the standard 15% drive train loss (for arguments sake) it puts it at just over 300hp.

I think the normal for stock 1st gen 35's is around 200hp. Track times is what matters though.

dyno & hp results are all relative & you can't really directly compare one dyno's readings to another. if you do 3-4 pulls & average 215 at the wheels, then do a change & repeat 3-4 pulls same dyno same conditions & average 225 at the weels then it's safe to say that the change added around 10hp, but if one guy gets a reading of 215 on one dyno & someone else gets a dyno reading somewhere else that say's 225 it really don't mean anything.... run one car on 10 differenrt dyno's & get 10 different results...

dyno readings are relative & aprox & will vary dyno to dyno, but track times are track times... after compensation for altitude & stuff then these are #'s that can be dirrectly comparable even from 2 different tracks even on 2 different coasts...

so far my bone stock dyno with just a +2 timing bump, everything else all stock was 215 at the wheels w/awd... depending on where I went I could have gotten readings anywhere from 185-225 for example though, or, I coulda slipped the dyno guy a few bucks & got a 262 also

dyno #'s are good only in relation to other #'s generated on the same dyno...

I agree with John, but I don't want to start a fight. 262 is extremely unrealistic, ask Z1. They went all out NA and after several thousands (just over $10k?) making a high compression (I think they were 15:1 at one point and then went back down because there was no benefit above 13:1 or so?) and crazy cams and race gas... what'd they end up with? 300-310 rwhp on a 6MT Zebra. Factor in 5AT losses and you're at what, 285-295? Then here comes a near stock motor mated to a 5AT making 262? :err:

Anywho, my original dyno was 200/200 on an AWD Mustang dyno. The conditions were damn near absolute worst case, with extremely high temps and high humidity in VA Beach. I'm going to get everything ready for my supercharger, give a few baseline dynos with intake/exhaust... then throw the charger on and dyno-tune to see what 6.5 lbs boost will do with a lower compression

I don't think I'll be very happy with the #'s given I'm at 9.0:1...

All I know is I didnt pay Tadashi anything more than what the tune/dyno session costed. No more no less. Bert is my witness. The 262 is the converted numbers for a Dyno Jet. The Super flow read 227.7

Im not a liar or am I out to fool anyone. If the numbers are inflated then he did that on his own without me asking for it.

My track times are 15.7 and I have witness' for those as well.

Theres guys here that are tight with the TS crew....someone go and ask Tadashi if i paid for them numbers.....
