2009 FX Wheel Info

I'm sure that bolt pattern & center bore is the same, backspacing is +50 on all, supposedly even the 21's although at 9" maybe that's not correct... 18X8, 20X8 & 21X9 are the sizes available.. can't help with the other specs but it's something

Tire size is the same on the old FX. for the 20's it's 265/50/20, I will have to check my stock 18's

My dealer told me the FX50S wheels were 21" x 9.5" wide
I have te 09 FX brochure in front of me and it says:
FX35....Split 5 spoke, 18" x 8.0" aluminum alloy
FX50....Enkei 6 spoke, 21" x 8.0" aluminum alloy
I guess you don't believe me (About the size of the 21" rims) cause I'm a newb on this site. I guess if you don't want to take my word you could check the Infiniti site and see for yourself.
I am an avid Infiniti fan, I have owned them since 2004.
I am getting rid of my 07 G35X and picking up my new 09 FX35 this week. I can hardly wait.

according to the Car and Driver spec , the fx50 s rim width is 21x9.5 ///5880
according to inifiniti's website it s 21x8 http://www.infinitiusa.com/fx/specs-options/?next=FX.Models_Pricing.Specs_Options

I was just going off the FX50 owners manual. http://www.infinititechinfo.com/refgh0v/og/infiniti/fx/2009-Infiniti-FXSeries.pdf.... does make more sense with a 265 tire.

Right on, it does say that there.
I checked Infiniti's US and Canadian websites and their Canadian brochure and they all say 21 x 8.0 so they have made an error somewhere.

I am changing this: the brochure made a typo it should be 21" x 9.5"

Dose any member have experience with finding 18 to 20 inch rims for the 2009 FX50S.
My dealer can't find any and It was me you had to tell them that the winter wheel sets they were selling on layaway for the 50 group will not work when the snow flies. The dealer is now scrambling to find rims.
Any suggestion on what will fit with the 50 mm offset and the large calipers on this vehicle?

hey joe, I moved your post to a more appropriate place.
in general any wheel that will fit a g37s should fit the fx. brake clearance is exactly the same because it's the same brakes, bolt pattern & hub center is exactly the same, offset is about the same, wheel centering & suspension clearances all about the same. offset itself doesn't determine brake clearance, wheel design dictates that.

There are currently two rims that I can think of off the top of my head that will clear the BBK.
20" OZ Canyon ST
Turbocad test fit my set on his first gen when he had the FX50S BBK conversion. Plenty of clearance. Plus I have my Blizzak 265/50 20's mounted on them as my winter wheels.
18" Sport Edition F10s
A member of the ORG got these off of TireRack to replace his OEM 21's since he is in Alaska. See thread here: http://www.infinitifx.org/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=21533
I haven't checked myself, but TireRack's wheel finder might have more options once your plug in your FX50S.
