Well they exceeded Infiniti in this aspect, IMO..

I, honestly, like the Mazda CX-7/CX-9 more than the RX350... The last picture looks like a concept... I have a feeling the final product will be toned down, perhaps more like the first two pics...

yup, the last pic is concept and the top is the production.. The concept actually looked nice but they did the worst job they could do to convert it into production, IMO..
 
The current '09 RX looks better, it still look feminine and i would never get one, but this looks even more feminine than any other that came out. Lexus need to step up their styling game and so does Acura. All they're doing is recycling their model exterior designs. Infiniti got to the point where all their vehicles looked perfect until they messed it up. For example, the ones messed up were the '09 FX and G37 coupe. The previous gens couldn't get any better shapewise. But as for the features i'm totally sold. The only good Infiniti exterior improvement is the '08 G35 sedan, soon to be G37 sedan.
 
Oh yeah, i forgot the only Lexus is would go for is the IS250 AWD which i was also considering while I was into the FX.
 
I wouldn't drive a Lexus if you put a gun to my head. Very nice appliances but absolutely soulless. Even the IS-F is boring as hell to drive.
 
people buy it because its a toyota..... its reputation appeals to the masses....other than brand name i dont see why anyone would choose this over lets say a murano or a cx7/9 because a lexus RX is one of the most boring things you can buy and you have to pay a premium over the other brands to get a less equiped boring pos.....
 
I think it looks like the Pontiac Aztec. do side profile shots and see the resemblence in body shape.
 
I looked at a lexus rdx turbo and drove it. Then I drove the FX35 & was sold!
FX drove way better and was way sexier. I also looked at a g35 but walked away cause that would have been trouble with my heavy foot as well as expesive to insure with my ticket record.
To this day i'm still stoaked about my FX
