E-Ram SUPERCHARGER intake

I have one org sticker on the left side giving me 5% and an IS sticker on the right side giving 5% more!

Joking aside, these are crappy stuff. It has a vent type fan in the pipe which works on the battery right? I didn't even need to read.. Think about what'll happen if the blades break and get into your engine.. Using logic: If this was a real good product that they put a good amount of research into, it wouldn't sell for $15. They'd charge at least $200.

They're actually charging $399.99 for this.

opps missed that.. The thing is I saw so many of these stuff for $15-20 on ebay that without doubt my eyes took the shipping cost as the actual price.. Wow, an expensive computer fan that is!

Just placed my order - will give feed back as soon as I get it installed by a certerfied ASE tech

hey will, since your ordering it, & since one of these adds 1psi boost, maybe ask if these can be stacked for more boost... I mean maybe we can stack 6-7 of these & make some real power, anyone see a group buy on these down the road

How about you & me working on a better approach: A ceiling fan mounted on the hood with reduced piping to the intake? Water might be a slight issue though..

hey guy, i was searching for new mods and i find out this cool intake, i dont know if anyone heard of it. its says its gives you 5%hp gain. i really like to see it on the fx35. :top:

I dunno , I want to help you out w/o the sarcasm
if you look at the eram website they have a setup for the FX. You can be the first that I know of. All I know is that it draws allot of amps from your battery! And it will be a on or off operation (like NOS) since it is triggered by a switch. That being said, I wonder how it affects performance when its "off " ?
:err:

thanks man, but im not thinking of selling my intake and buy this , i love my stillen  im just sharing what i found, maybe someone interesting

truth is, this thing actually might make a slight difference... maybe even measurable on a dyno... hard to say if it's enough of a difference to actually feel though, probably not I'd guess... I'd think $400 would be much better off on real mods though...

I think this thing would make a difference but reliability is the issue. Only if you take the fan out of the line using a Y type tube (or a straight tube with the pipe with the fan attached on the side) AND if you somehow prevent the broken fan blades to reach the engine (plastic mesh?) AND if you somehow find a way to close the intake side of the tube with the fan when the fan is off.. THEN it will be reliable..

I was actually thinking of using model airplane ducted fans for something like this once but then I woke up

I tried doing the Y-tube thing with 2 blowers. I gave up. you have to have them running all them time. The problem is getting the air cooler as well has the Boost.

I have one sitting in my gaurage with out the filter. It's the one with the rotory fan, that looks like to the TURBO. I'm willing to donate it if someone pays for the shipping. I'm interested in finding out if the claim to extra HP is correct.

Just remember that the MAF Sensor needs to stay where it is not before the Y.
