Hey guys been awhile since I've logged in here, but been watching every so often... Still loving my fx, but started having a problem yesterday. I searched for awhile on here, but couldn't really find something that is close to what I have. Wen I start up and start driving my fx, I hear kinda a clicking noise from my front driver wheel. The slip light comes on and the abs starts working. ( like driving on ice and braking) then it shuts the abs off and a couple lights come on (abs, awd, slip...)
I did not have time to rip it apart yet, but wondered if anybody has some bright ideas?? Maybe the abs module?? Gonna try to rip it apart one of these next evening....

Thanks for the reply Andy.... I checked my brake fluid that's good. I finally had time to look into it tonight and hope u guys can help me out i checked the codes and it pointed to the front right abs sensor. I got one and changed it but it's still acting up. As soon as I hit like 15 mph the abs activates for a little then shuts the abs awd off and the cluster lights up the the light, slip awd vcd off abs.... I pulled the codes again and come up with three, c1115, c1133 and p1211. Kinda stuck and would REALLY appreciate any help wife wants to use it tomorrow so was hoping to figure something out tonight

Oops yup passenger side... another question, when I changed the sensor the connector where the sensor plugs into wasn't the tightest.. It has some moisture and crud in it... Could it have done something to the wiring? Can I change that female connector??

If you can find the female connector, it may worth a try as you can read from the P1721 description; its an "auxiliary device" to the sensor failed.
This got me thinking about awhile back, I've driven my FX without one of the driver side ABS sensor for a few days without these codes.

Thanks for the info Andy... I'd really wanna try to figure this out myself, but could be a handful of things, sensor harness, wheel bearing, abs module, I don't know..... But thanks again Andy, if u or anybody else gets any bright ideas, feel free to comment

Hey Andy one other thing I wanted ur opinion on. Long story short, right before this happened my wife hit a mega mega pothole, it bent the rear passenger side rim a bit got that professionally fixed.do u think it Could have done something to the wheel bearing?? Just trying to weigh all my options....

Wheel bearing will not trigger the CEL. Jack up the wheel spin it and listen for noise. Did anything happens to the front wheel with that pothole? Dose the car pull to the right?

No the drive ability of the car has not been affected at all, thanks for all the great help Andy but got a appointment at the stealership to diagnose it, cause it's driving me batty to have lights on on the dash, and I've worked and worked and can't figure it out, so gonna let them see if they can figure it out....can almost bet they will say speed sensor as codes point to that, but I changed it already.... Oh well I'll try to let u guys know wat they say.....

Ok, got my wife to take the fx up to the stealer... They checked it, and said that it is the front wheel bearing. There is a small piece missing from it somewhere and they said it's messing with the sensor... So time to a wheel bearing change... Btw, they said they can change it for only $699, so if anybody needs a good deal hopefully attack it this weekend..

Sure bring it over

Hey guys just updating, got a new wheel bearing and put it in tonight.. When I got the old one out it still looked real good but a TINY peice of rubber was off right on the inside of the hub for u that know how they look... I was real doubtful a new one would do anything, but got it installed and FINALLY my smooth ride with no lights on the dash... So thanks Andy and everyone for ur help... Infiniti scene is a real great place
